Big crowds, big holes and big time gaps are highlights of qualifying at the 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Downhill outside of Bielsko-Biala, Poland. The Szczyrk bike park, a brand-new venue on the circuit showcased a fresh track with lots of jumps and challenging technical wooded sections. Weather and conditions for qualifying were generally dry and pleasant, but rain from the day before left a few tricky, slick sections to contend with. Junior riders set their start order for Sunday's races with qualfiying and Elites narrowed down a large field for semi-finals later in the day. In addition to protected riders, 25 Junior Men and 10 Junior Women qualify for Sunday's race. 60 Elite Men and 15 Elite Women make it through to semi-finals.
